Welcome upon arrival by our local tour guide and driver, then transfer to your hotel for check-in. On the way, we may stop at the West Lake area to enjoy a beautiful sunset view over Hanoi’s largest lake and sip Vietnamese coffee at a lakeside café. After checking in, enjoy dinner at a fine restaurant in town.

Today we visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where we will spend a couple of hours exploring key highlights including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his former stilt-house residence, the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university, founded in 1070 and originally built as a temple to Confucius-showcasing the enduring importance of education in Vietnamese society. Lunch will be served at a fine local restaurant in Hanoi.

In the afternoon, transfer to the Royal City area to visit and shop at the biggest mall in Hanoi. Guests can choose from activities such as indoor skiing, swimming at Vietnam’s largest indoor water park, or simply strolling and shopping. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

After breakfast, drive to Halong Bay for an overnight cruise on a deluxe junk. Travel through beautiful scenery en route to this World Heritage site of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, board your boat and cruise through the tranquil bay, often referred to as the “8th Natural Wonder of the World.” While cruising, explore hidden caves and enjoy the chance to canoe or swim from the boat. In the evening, savor a seafood feast for dinner.

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the bay and enjoy a hearty Western-style breakfast as the sun rises over Halong Bay’s magnificent limestone karsts. Continue with a morning cruise, offering more opportunities to admire the scenery and explore additional cave formations within this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After disembarking, enjoy lunch at The One Indian Halong Restaurant. Then, begin your return journey to Hanoi.
