Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Day 2: Halong Bay – Cat Ba Island
Day 3: Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi
Depart from Hanoi at 8:00 am for a scenic four-hour drive through the Red River Delta to Halong City. Along the way, we will stop for a break and the opportunity to purchase hand-made souvenirs at a handicraft center supporting disabled individuals.
Upon reaching Halong City, transfer to our junk boat, check into your private cabin with air conditioning, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch as you cruise through the stunning landscape of towering limestone mountains rising from the clear green waters. In the afternoon, explore the largest cave in the area, swim at a secluded beach, or enjoy kayaking through the peaceful lagoons. Dinner will be served on board, followed by an overnight stay on the boat.
After breakfast, check out of your cabin and board a transit boat to explore Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay, which are surrounded by thousands of limestone peaks. Spend the day cruising through these serene waters, enjoying the natural beauty.
For lunch, enjoy a meal at The One Indian Restaurant, offering a delightful selection of Indian cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will arrive at Cat Ba Island, where a vehicle will be waiting to transfer us to our hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the island’s beautiful beaches.
After breakfast, we will visit the Cat Ba National Park and explore the historic Military Hospital Cave, which was used by the North Vietnamese Army during the American War. We’ll return to Cat Ba Township, then take a speedboat for an hour-long ride to Hai Phong, Vietnam’s largest seaport and third-largest city. After arriving in Hai Phong, we will transfer to a vehicle for a two-hour drive back to Hanoi.
